Due to long flying time to our next destination we rose to an early start. At Singapore’s Seletar Airport handling was very friendly and straight forward. Just before 9am we took off for the first leg to Pontianak on the island of Borneo in Indonesia where we stopped quick for refuelling. It was quite apparent
Singapore Airlines got us in style and on time down to East Asia. As expected it is hot and humid, but that’s something we will have to get used to. Getting out of the airport and the hotel was very swift and efficient, Tom was joking already that the first transfer was even already waiting
Handling in Larnaca is again very efficient and we are in the air 10 minutes earlier. A short flight across the sea and we land in Beirut early. Unfortunately the fuel truck is broken and we have to wait. After a while we decide that Captain Tom stays back and the rest drives into Beirut.
We decide to fly out of Tel Aviv a bit later since there is not much to see in Larnaca, the city in Cyprus we have to fly to since it is not possible to fly directly from Israel to Lebanon. While leaving Israel, security is much tighter. But all works very well and we
