Dear Friends,

After a successful Transamerica 2022 trip, we have returned home safe and sound. It was a fantastic, four week long trip, that saw us travelling down to Antarctica and back. Along the way, we explored a number of different countries, and unique places: from the freezing temperatures in the Antarctic Ocean, to the Bolivian Salt Planes at an altitude of 3600 m.a.s.l., we experienced countless different climate zones environments, and altitudes.

Covid proved to be a challenge once again. This time not due to regulations, but due to the fact that we all contracted it during our travels. Luckily, the down days in Punta Arenas allowed us to weather the storm and continue onwards. Cedric and Albert join us at different stints, contributed significantly with their photographic experience, and were very welcomed guests on the expedition and key parts of the team.

Special thank you to all that made this trip possible. From Pascal, the resident PC-24 Pilot, to X-Ops behind the scenes, and our families that allowed us to travel, it would not have been possible without you.

Until the next Adventure,

Rainer, Tom, Marc-Philippe, Cedric and Albert

The Plane

Pilatus PC-24

The World’s First Super Versatile Jet, the PC-24 is the only aircraft combining the versatility of a turboprop with the cabin size of a medium-light jet, and the performance of a light jet. The PC-24 has been engineered to be “off-road” compatible from the beginning. With a cruise speed up to 440 kts (815 km/h) and a range of 1’800 nm (3’334 km) at an altitude up to 45’000 ft (13’716 m) this airplane puts our travel ambitions and ability to reach places into another dimension.
