Leaving Iran was again no problem as coming in: everybody is very helpful and friendly. What a wrong image we have in the west of these people. 17th of May Ride to the airport is no problem and so is security and handling. Mr. Mohammed asks us whether he can fly with us to Shiraz since he prefers that over a regular scheduled flight. We agree but still do not know what is role is. We suspect that he works for the

After a rainy night in Georgia we make another attempt to take-off. Again very efficient handling on the ground and at 09.15h we are airborne; 1 1/4 hour after leaving the hotel. The flight plan takes us over Aserbaijan, the Caspian Sea straight down to Teheran. During the approach we are first impressed by the
12th of May Eight o’clock sharp, Nur picks us up at the hotel and off to the airport. We have to leave before 10.00h since Mr. Holland from France is arriving for a state visit! So we have to get out of Monsieur’s way. Mount Ararat is now clear and the view very nice. Handling
10th of May Rainy morning today. OK breakfast and then smooth drive to airport. Again we get photographed several times by automatic cameras on the way. Big brother is watching you! Security check is easy and the 2 border police men love our plane. We take pictures with them and they are over the moon!!
